Is Iluka Medical Centre accepting new patients?

Yes, we are currently welcoming new patients from Iluka, Burns Beach, Currambine, Kinross, and surrounding northern suburbs. Our team of Fellow GPs is available 7 days a week to support your family’s health. You can book an appointment instantly through our website or by calling our reception.

Are you open on weekends?

Yes. For your convenience, we are open Saturdays (8:30 AM – 11:00 AM) and Sundays (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM). We offer scheduled weekend appointments to help you avoid the long wait times often associated with urgent care centers.

Do you offer telehealth or phone appointments?

No. To ensure the highest standard of clinical care and diagnostic accuracy, all consultations at Iluka Medical Centre are conducted in-person only. We believe face-to-face care allows our doctors to provide the most thorough physical assessments and personalized treatment.

Category 2: Costs & Billing

Does Iluka Medical Centre offer bulk billing?

We are a mixed-billing practice. We provide Bulk Billing (weekdays only) for:

  • Children under the age of 16 and adults over 70 years of age
  • Pensioner Concession Card holders
  • DVA Gold Card holders

For all other patients and all weekend consultations,
a private gap fee applies.

We can process your Medicare rebate instantly on-site.

How much does a standard consultation cost?

Category 3: Facilities & Parking

Where is the best place to park for the medical centre?
We have ample free parking with two easy ways to access the clinic on the 1st Floor:

Direct Drive-Up (Best for prams/mobility): Use the ramp on Calis Avenue (at the back of the plaza) to drive up and park directly in front of our entrance.

Ground Floor: Park in the main lot and take the internal lift up to the 1st Floor.
Do you have on-site pathology?

Yes, we have on-site Pathology services available for blood tests and specimen collection. Our center also hosts allied health services including Podiatry, Psychology, and Dietetics.

Category 4: Urgent & After-Hours Care

What should I do if the clinic is closed?

For life-threatening emergencies, always call 000.

For non-emergency care after hours, we recommend our “Dial a Doctor” service at 1300 030 030 for home visits.
